This cooking competition will be a great way for your student to express their culinary creativity. There are 2 challenges in this class. In each challenge a mystery food is revealed that must be used in the recipe! The class is divided into teams and the teams work together to create their very own recipe using pantry ingredients along with the mystery ingredient! Teams will be awarded for various categories such as tastiest dish, best presentation, most creative, etc! The focus in this class is not harsh judgement, rather to inspire creativity, freedom to try new recipes, and teamwork!
These classes are for Roots II: Recommended ages 10-14 years, with independent kitchen skills/at home experience or having previously taken multiple classes. These students have developed basic skills, but want to expand their skills in the kitchen by learning more challenging recipes and various cooking methods!
