Adventures in Food-Summer Camp

July 8-11th 10 am-1 pm

Kids 7 and up!

Your child does not need to have any experience to come! If they do have experience, they will be given more difficult tasks so that we can engage each child where they are! Older kids that have experience may even get the opportunity to help younger students and assist the instructor with parental permission!

Monday-Science Experiments with Food

There is so much science behind cooking! We will dive in and do some super cool experiments that will hopefully leave your child excited and inspired to do more in the kitchen!

Tuesday-Carnival Food

We all have our favorite summer carnival food. We will make some of our favorites with a twist!

Wednesday-Cooking with Veggies and Fruit

We will make noodles from zucchini and fries from potatoes with a spiralizer along with apple crisp using an apple peeler/corer!

Thursday-Cooking Competitions

Modeled after popular TV cooking shows, this day will be full of fun and friendly competitions! Students will work in teams to compete and will learn how to work alongside others and still letl their creativity shine!

*All camps must meet the minimum enrollment requirement to run. You will be alerted if this camp does not meet the requirement and will be given a refund.

*Summer Cooking Camps are REFUNDABLE up to 21 days before the first day of camp. A 50% refund will be given for any cancellations less than 21 days in advance. Please note that your child’s spot prevents others from enrolling, and WRC makes purchases in advance for camps based on the number of enrolled students. Please inquire about the possibility of transferring to a different camp.
